Services and Events in our Churches over the next four weeks
On Sunday 21st December 2025 – Advent 4 there will be services as follows:
At 9.30am at Hilton Church a service of Morning Praise led by Julia Ardley, Authorised Lay Minister (ALM).
At 9.30am at Brookfield Church a service of Holy Communion.
At 11.00am at Stainton Church an informal service of Coffee and Carols led by our Vicar, Revd Laura Wild. [Editor's note: There will NOT be Holy Communion at this service]. If you will be attending this service, we would love to see you wearing your best Christmas Jumper/Outfit!
At 4.00pm at Brookfield Church a Christingle Service. If you will be attending this service, we would love to see you wearing your best Christmas Jumper/Outfit!
The lessons set in the Lectionary for the Advent 4 are:

On Monday 22nd December 2025 at 2.00pm for one hour at Brookfield Church there will be the fourth and last session of our Plurality Bible Study “Nativity Extras”, led by our Vicar, Revd Laura Wild.
On Tuesday 23rd December 2025 at 9.30am at Stainton Church there will be a half-hour Plurality Prayer Gathering.
On Tuesday 23rd December 2025 at 4.00pm at Hilton Church there will be a Christingle Service.
On Wednesday 24th December 2025 at 2.00pm at Brookfield Church; there will be a “Pop-Up” Nativity service.
On Wednesday 24th December 2025 at 4.00pm at Stainton Church there will be a Crib service.
On Thursday 25th December 2025 – Christmas Day there will be celebration services of Holy Communion for Christmas as follows:
At 9.30am at Hilton Church;
At 9.30am at Brookfield Church; and
At 11.00am at Stainton Church.

On Sunday 28th December 2025 – The first Sunday of Christmas we will be celebrating the Festival of the Holy Innocents – there will be a single Joint Plurality service of Holy Communion at 10.30am at Stainton Church.
There will NOT be services at Hilton Church or Brookfield Church on that day.
The lessons set in the Lectionary for The Holy Innocents (transferred from 29th December 2025) are:

- Matthew 2:13-18

On Sunday 4th January 2026 – The Second Sunday of Christmas, but we shall be celebrating The Epiphany (transferred from 6th January 2026) – there will be services as follows:
At 9.30am at Hilton Church a service of Holy Communion.
At 9.30am at Brookfield Church a service of Holy Communion.
At 11.00am at Stainton Church an informal Café Church service for Epiphany with discussions, quizzes, informal worship songs and simple refreshments. [Editor’s note: there will NOT be Holy Communion at this service]
